Our hotel is the perfect starting point for numerous walking-tours. The nearby located recreation area “Hocheck” or our local mountain “Brünnstein” (1634 meters high) are popular destinations.
The “classical” places of excursions are as good as on the doorstep: the Chiemsee with the “Herreninsel” and “Fraueninsel”, the “Wendelstein” with its old rack railway, the Walchsee or the silver-mine in Schwaz.
Oberaudorf and the surrounding area offer a variety of winter sports. The cross-country skiing trail is right behind the hotel. There are numerous skiing areas next to us: the Hocheck with the longest floodlit piste in Germany, the Wendelstein, the Sudelfeld, Kössen and not to forget the largest skiing resort of Austria – the Ski World “Wilder Kaiser”.
The best conditions for sledding can be found on the Hocheck or in Söll, both in the evening and during the day. For the skaters there are well maintained ice rinks in Ebbs as well as in Kufstein.
